AHS Seniors and Parents,
One of the best ways to set yourself up for financial aid (pell grants, loans, work study) is through completing the FAFSA. Remember, a pell grant is money from the government to go to college that DOESN'T have to be paid back! We will be hosting a FAFSA night on January 10th from 6-8pm.
In preparation for our FAFSA night, we are going to be holding a quick workshop next Monday, December 18th at 10:20am in the commons area. You will be creating your FSA-ID that is needed to complete the FAFSA. Please bring your chromebooks. It should only take about 10 minutes.
**NOTE: FSA-ID's must be created in advance to filling out the FAFSA. Your parent will also need to create an FSA-ID, if they dont have one already. I have attached a guide to help you and your parent navigate the process.
**You must know the following information to create an FSA-ID. Please come prepared with the following information:
1. Name (as it appears on your social security card)
2. Date of Birth
3. Social Security Number
4. email (not your school email, a personal email)
5. physical address
