AHS Parents and Students,

We are excited to be working with Split Mountain Youth Centers' School Based Outreach Team. They will be teaching courses once a week from the ADAPT (advanced decision making and problem solving) and Why Try curriculum. These groups will be taught on Wednesdays and the time will rotate so students are not missing the same class multiple times. This is open to all students grades 7-12. Students may choose to register for either the ADAPT or Why Try program. Both programs teach skills that are useful for all students. See the attached flyers for an outline of each session.

Please register in the counseling center by February 18th. You may also register by contacting Mrs. Oman at (435) 738-1363 or soman@dcsd.org

Resilience Week

Hey Duchesne County, gather ‘round,
We’ve got a challenge hitting town!
A jingle contest, rap or rhyme,
About showing up — on time!
Attendance matters every day,
It helps you learn, it helps you play.
So bring your beat, your voice, your flair,
Show the district you’ll be there!
Show up, shine bright —
Do your best, take flight!
Make a jingle, make it clever,
Attendance matters more than ever!
