Centennial Elementary has been taken over by super heroes this year. Our students, teachers and staff are amazing. Thank you Mr Novack's kindergarten class for leading the way. It's going to be an awesome year

I need to express my thanks to our amazing CES students and staff. This year, our students have a kindness challenge each week. As I've asked each of our new students if they've made a new friend or if someone has done something kind for them, the answer has been an overwhelming YES!! We have wonderful students that are truly making our school and community a place of kindness.

Students age 9 by December 31 are welcome to join 4H.
Students make friendships, build community, and learn new skills. Contact Leslie Winterton with questions.

We are collecting shelf stable foods for our backpack program. Please donate if you are able. Thank you

Please let the office know if your child has permission to join Junior Theatre Club - 2nd and 3rd Grades
Meetings begin next week!

Please be aware of the road repair work during the first week of school and plan accordingly.
From Roosevelt City:
As part of a Roosevelt City project to install secondary water pipelines and services, 1080 South will be closed between State Street and 320 East on August 19 until August 22. There will be no access for thru traffic, so access to the school will need to be from 500 East.
Additionally, we ask that foot traffic through this area is minimized. If children will be walking this route, we ask that they remain vigilant, staying on sidewalks and away from the construction equipment and construction sites.
Thank you for your understanding as the city completes this portion of the project.

Join us for our back to school meet and greet Monday August 19

Teachers, Admin, and Full-Time Classified Staff,
Please join us on August 14th for Opening Institute. Teachers and Admin, we'll start in the morning. Full-time Classified, please join us for lunch at 11:30 and stay the afternoon for instruction.
Welcome back to a new year! And See you Soon!
